What is a PD and How Do I Measure it?PD is the “Interpupillary Distance” or “Pupillary Distance” which is a measurement of the distance from the center of one pupil to the center of the other pupil in millimeters. Often your doctor will have these measurements for you, but it can easily be measured at any optical shop (some places may charge you for this). You can also measure it with the help of a friend or yourself by simply using a mirror and our PD Measurement Tool. The average PD for a woman is around 60mm and around 64mm for a man. |
